Lavi stood in front of the selection window, nose pressed right up to the glass like a child might at display windows during Christmas time. An action which got an annoyed glare from the employee who would have to clean it again after the curious redhead had left the store and probably had just finished cleaning it a few minutes before Lavi had entered. He drumed his fingers against the glass in thought, "Come on, Lavi. We're holding up the line you know."
He casted a glance up at Allen as he huffed indignantly, fogging up the glass, "You can't rush a decision like this, Allen. Ice cream is meant to be savored, you know."
Allen sighed as Lavi went back to narrowing down his choices for the afternoon treat, it was between Birthday Cake and something called Green Apple Gummy Bear. "You had better pick fast, Lavi. Kanda's glaring at us from outside the store already."
"He can wait, besides we deserve ice cream after that spar." He rubbed at his shoulder and straightened, decision made, "Guess I'll try the Green Apple Gummy Bear, yeah?" Allen stared at him and he grinned, "What? It sounded good."
"I'll go pay for the ice cream, meet you outside." Allen wandered down to the register as Lavi turned back to the counter, watching the employee put together his frozen treat.
"Hey, can I get a little sample spoon too? Want to share with my friend out there." A confused "of course" from the clerk and Lavi had both the ice cream and spoon in hand. It took him a bit to dig around for a scoop with a gummy bear - whatever those were - in it and Lavi grinned as he rejoined Allen and Kanda outside. "Sorry about that~ Here, Yuu~"
Before the swordsman could stop him, the small plastic spoon full of ice cream and gummy bear was in his mouth. Lavi could almost see the anger marks on Kanda's face as he realized what the redhead had done to him. "See you guys later!"
And he took off with a laugh, glad he had asked for a lid on his ice cream as Kanda chased him to "kill" him yet again.
