Tyki on Copies
He doesn't like the idea of copies of himself, it's not normal, there should only be one of him. So to try and make up for the fact that there are copies of him, he gives them different names, pretends that they're different people all together. Because to him it makes it easier to accept that there's someone that looks like him. Something that he keeps to himself that he'll use to differentiate between them is he'll imagine a unique little item on them if they don't always have one themselves.
To use my own as an example... Tykitty (justacatphase) is easy enough to pick out as Cat what with his ears and tail. They're easy to pick up on and if ever they're hidden he knows that he can just look at the collar as well. Joyd (mutedpleasure) is a little more difficult with his Tease out all the time - but most of the others have Tease too - but his eccentric clothing style usually points him out as a gypsy and therefore Mute. Danny (pleasurestease) is a little harder seeing as he has no outward give away like the first two do, but he has an older feel about him than the others so unfortunately he gets the nickname of Gramps. Tykibot (programunstable) is rather easy for like the gypsy his tastes in clothing aren't the usual and the bright colors he insists on wearing set him apart as Neon.
For anyone else in the DGM cast, if there are more than one, he'd give them different names in the family that their hair color is. The shade names are the names that he hands out, like for Lavi there might be Brick, Rose, Blood, or Rust. An Allen might be Antique, Beige, Cream, Cornsilk; Kanda could possibly be any shade of black or a dark blue (Duke (blue), Prussian (blue)).
Yet still, even if he separates them he doesn't like the idea of doubles of anyone else. It's something unnatural to him. And he can't shake the feeling off. Only those from his own home get their proper names and perhaps whomever becomes his special person but if they're a copy he still might just give them a nickname, a special one. Perhaps in time he might be able to get used to the idea of copies but for now it's nothing he wants to think about.
The Dressing Room with all its different versions and different lives would just confuse and frighten him into quite possibly never coming out of his room after arrival. Special person around or not.
Tyki on Powers
Doesn't like his powers. Doesn't use them unless he absolutely has to. Which annoys the Memory to no fucking end because that's how Joyd strengthens his hold on his host. But for some reason having the ability to choose to touch what he wants and refuse the rest doesn't interest Tyki so much. He likes touching things, he likes how things feel even when they're painful or discomforting. It reminds him that he's alive and that there's something holding him down. But when Tyki does choose to use the Memory's powers he uses it full blast just to get the job done before he has to deal with it any longer.
So this breaks more of how he holds back in canon, there is no holding back. This is take no prisoners and have them all drawn and quartered. Only he's not that ruthless with it. If he kills there's no pleasure in it, not for him, though Joyd continues to get a kick out of it. His killings are cold and done to end things swiftly because he doesn't want to do it. Ending human life isn't in his own personal agenda.
As for the Tease... It squicks him out to have them living in his body. He doesn't like that anymore than he likes having Joyd's powers. So instead of hosting them inside his body he finds someone to host them all, or several somebodies if they get that big. It's usually someone on the streets that they won't miss so much that he has dragged off and bound, holding the golems until he requires their use. But just so that he isn't totally defenseless Tyki does keep a handful of normal, small golems and two of the larger ones within him.
Tyki on Family
Cyril
He has issues with. Serious issues. Doesn't like his brother and runs away often after just seeing his face. But he doesn't hate Cyril. It's just a dislike to be around his company, which many would probably agree with. Doesn't even like working with Cyril when he has to, refuses to speak to him or look at him.
Rhode
He loves her but he honestly thinks there's something a little wrong with her and she's not his special person. Still, she's the one that's with him most of the time and so he relies on her a little more than the others, trusts her more.
Earl
He's tricky but Tyki hasn't really caught on to this yet, or the whole trick to get him to fight against the Exorcists and seeing them as the bad guy. But the Earl has pretty much protected him, fed him, clothed him all his life so he owes a lot to the guy.
Devit & Jasdero
Gets into a lot of trouble with these two. It's like the Three Amigos if they're left to their own devices. But the chicken that the other two found has often kept Tyki's spirits up when he's in need of a boost since he takes care of the thing.
Allen(/Fourteenth)
Allen is an odd one to consider. There are a lot of traits that make Tyki want to just stay by his side and enjoy his company. BUT seeing as they're enemies it's not at all possible. Still he welcomes the idea of pulling the reluctant Exorcist into the family. A way of shoving things in the face of the Order. Fourteenth he's a little more iffy on considering the fact that he can't remember the fellow at all. But from what he's seen and heard this guy is more like an enemy than someone they should be trying to get to come in. And while he doesn't think they should kill him, probably at least bind him in a way he can't escape.
Tyki on Special Person
While he doesn't have one yet, he's always been looking for one and really does hope to find a special person soon. Problem is he keeps looking for people that resemble Allen Walker in personality and it has started growing toward looks as well. Which is rather troublesome and hard to do considering white-haired boys with scars on their faces like Allen are...well, pretty much a one-hit wonder. But he's not stuck on someone of Allen's caliber just yet, there's plenty of room still for Tyki to change his opinion. Simply for the fact that he doesn't have that special person just yet.
But this special person of his? It's not a sexual or intimate thing! It's just friendship, a pure friendship where he...pretty much clings to the person endlessly. Would do anything for at the drop of a hat, worries or broods when they're gone from his side. But the thing is, he'd call out "I love you" quite easily and wouldn't mean it in a romantic way.
Tyki on Humans/Exorcists
Oddly he's more interested in making friends with humans than killing them and as a result Tyki spends more time as Tyki Mikk the hobo that works in a coal mine than Lord Tyki Mikk, the most eligible bachelor of the ton.
Tyki on Animals
LOVES animals. To him they're the coolest things ever and they can't ever lie to you and they're always your friend so long as you treat them right. So he'll bring home strays all the time, give them a home for a bit, and then try to find someone to take them. But he'll never get rid of the chicken. The chicken is special.
