Back at work. The sidewalks were happily clear enough for walking, though the corners are, as always, treacherous.
Yesterday, while curled up cozily on the couch, I finally watched John Wick. I mean, I have watched way worse movies over the years for Keanu Reeves, so I feel okay recommending this. If you can handle the dog dying, this is a very entertaining movie where Keanu Reeves kills a bunch of dudes for killing his dog. (To be fair, they are all mobsters and terrible people and also douchebags. I mean, sure, steal a guy's sweet ride, but why kill the dog? That's just evil.) A fine specimen in the "dude kills a bunch of dudes in revenge" movie genre, because it is also very weird. I won't go see the sequel in the theater, but I'll happily watch it when it comes to streaming services. But only if no other dogs die.
Otoh, speaking of GREAT Keanu movies, here's a good look at Speed. I love that movie a lot.
