Late last night, my period arrived. Happy New Year to me? And my cold has reached the "even breathing makes me cough" stage, so it's funtimes all around at Chez Vic today.

Lastly, this is mostly so I can easily find it again if I want to, but you might be interested in a brief essay, I guess, that I wrote yesterday regarding Darth Vader's attempt to get Luke to join him to rule the galaxy (as some non-movie but still canon support for that reading, have the amazing series of panels where he finds out Luke is his son. Again, I can't recommend the Darth Vader comic enough. Seriously.) For real, I hate that I have feelings about Darth Vader now, strong enough to make me write posts like that, but such is the power of the dark side The Clone Wars (about more which later).
