My period showed up yesterday evening, two weeks late, which might explain some of the blahs and disconnectedness I've been feeling lately. I mean, there's other, more concrete stuff, too, but two extra weeks of waiting for my period probably made it worse. At least this way, I shouldn't still have it for Thanksgiving or get it over Christmas, which is an upside.

Star Wars Rebels Blood Sisters
So Ketsu and Sabine are totally ex-girlfriends, right? That was how the whole episode played to me, anyway. Having Gina Torres voice Ketsu was also a plus. It was nice to get some more info on Sabine, though it was barely sketched in. If she's only 16, how has she already been a mercenary and how long has she been with the Ghost crew? Also, this episode accomplished something nearly impossible - I might have actually liked Chopper for a little while, wtf? Ezra had no place there, though. Why was he even in this episode? Anyway, Sabine and Ketsu were totally like "sisters" if by "sisters" you mean "girlfriends." IJS
Arrow: Brotherhood
What a good episode for Diggle! The show was totally firing on all cylinders tonight, though now I think maybe Thea is neck and neck with Detective Captain Lance in terms of who is going to end up in that grave in April. Also, Darhk knows Ollie's the Green Arrow, right? I mean, he'd have to be stupid to not put it all together, and he's not stupid. Like, that was totally a trap to prove Detective Captain Lance is a mole, right? He didn't just leave that information out in the open out of sloppiness?
I wonder if Thea will sacrifice herself to make Darhk weak enough to kill? (Also, as much as I feel Merlyn has worn out his welcome, I did like him serving a pedophile up for Thea if necessary; do you think he sent the creepy perv to hit on her as well?) She did get that spectacular fight scene with Andy. All the fight scenes were good this episode (the internet tells me the fight choreographer directed), though the one in between the red containers looked weird and I'm not sure why - the location looked weird I mean - too clean maybe? Or the lighting was weird? Something was off there, but I'm not knowledgeable enough about directing etc. to know what.
So is Randy Alex working for Darhk? Or perhaps his superiors at HIVE? I don't understand why they'd have a recognizable actor in the role for any other reason (though given how they totally didn't use Summer Glau maybe they would). I also don't understand why he wouldn't bail on Thea unless he too has secrets, but okay.
So Digg doesn't know that Ollie came home once and decided not to stay/tell his family he wasn't dead? Just Felicity knows? I can see why Ollie might not want to tell him now, though I thought he might during their conversation here. I love that Oliver needs to believe that even the worst people can be redeemed, because he thinks he is the worst and that the terrible things he did are more terrible than other people's terrible things. Oh, Oliver, I don't understand how they did it, but they made me love you. And not just you on the salmon ladder. Sigh.
I wish they'd get to the Bratva flashbacks though. The stuff on the island right now is not doing it for me at all. At least the terrible Hong Kong flashbacks at Tatsu and Maseo.
I also liked Laurel's moment with Diggle - she's much better when she's not taking up the spotlight too much with her awful decision-making.

In other news, why do people insist on phone calls when email exists? I mean for work purposes? The phone is good when someone isn't answering your emails repeatedly or you don't want to have something in writing, but generally speaking, I much prefer email because then I can answer at my leisure and also have a record of the conversation! And also it doesn't interrupt me when I'm doing other things the way the phone does. I don't think it's just my loathing of the phone at work here. I think it's genuinely less good for work communication than email, like, 96% of the time.
