There is no ending between you and me
OH MY GOSH, YOU GUYS, STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS. CARRIE FISHER, HARRISON FORD, AND MARK HAMILL REUNITE. THERE WAS KISSING. ALSO, SPACE PROM.
Though I think this pic of Carrie Fisher + stormtroopers is my favorite. HBIC indeed.
LOOK AT HER. PRINCESS FUCKING LEIA ON DECK. (I about lost it on seeing the family resemblance. HER FATHER'S DAUGHTER. OH MY HEART.)
I've been sadly inconsistent with tagging "star wars" vs. "star wars: the force awakens" and somehow I didn't even bother with an sdcc15 tag, which would have helped.
Anyway, I have been having a lot of STAR WARS FEELINGS and oh please, don't suck! PLEASE. (It sounds, given the interviews, like even Harrison Ford's on board and not phoning it in, but I guess we'll see.) I really should get a Princess Leia icon.
Additionally, I was rereading the DCU/MCU wip I've been working on forever (looking back, it seems I started it in April 2013, so not the longest it's ever taken me to write something, but still, a long time), and I had that moment of disconnect where I was like, "I sure hope Jason gets a hug at the end!" as if I weren't the one writing the story. So at least I know my end goal now is for Jason to get a hug? I mean, that was always sort of in the back of my mind, but last night I realized that I'd already sort of set it up so that he could, even though I hadn't consciously thought about how it would happen. I think I know now, though. Oh dear, oh dear, why is writing so hard?
In other news, RIP Omar Sharif and Roger Rees. Sigh.
