you catch the man
I have to say, this thing where I can't sleep until after 4 am and I wake up at 9 am is really not doing it for me. I did manage to take a nap this afternoon, but mostly I have been unfit for human interaction. Instead, I've watched more Star Wars: The Clone Wars, which is pretty good. Anakin is a douche, Obi-Wan is a charming douche, Ahsoka is a cutie, and Obi-Wan and Ventress have been having some serious hate-sex, right?
At least last night while I wasn't sleeping, I managed to finish my book, and also write about 1000 words. Sadly, that was just another 1000 words in a story that probably requires another 10k to be finished. Hopefully I can get it done in December. Sigh.
Yesterday, I decanted all my fruit infused vodkas (pic), though I ran out of tags, so I'm going to have to buy more of those, and I also bought a little wheely cart to schlep it all to the island on Christmas Eve. I ordered the under-21 gifts and the gift certificates for my bosses, and the gift for my uncle, so all that's left now is figuring out what to bake for my dad's present, since he came up blank when I asked what I should make for him.
I'm sure there's something I've forgotten, but I'm feeling pretty on top of Christmas right now. I can't believe tomorrow is December 1st. I will have to change my DW style and icon to reflect the holiday season.
