So all work writing due today was done on time, because I am awesome (actually, this is terrible, because I always pull it out so I never learn not to do this again, even though every time I swear I won't let it go until the last minute! You would think at 43 years old, I would finally know better! but nope! still doing it), though tomorrow is going to be crazy too. On the plus side, not wanting to do all this work writing has made me want to do fic writing? I haven't been able to because I haven't given into the urge not to do the work now, but it's the first time in about six weeks that I've felt the urge. *hands*

Anyway, even though it felt like Tuesday again, it is actually Wednesday, which means books!

What I just finished

I did a reread of Small Gods, and then of the first two Amelia Peabodys: Crocodile on the Sandbank and Curse of the Pharaohs, both of which I enjoyed, but wow, the latter is full of some cringe-worthy stuff about women-who-aren't-Amelia, and women who are fat that I never noticed before.

What I'm reading now

The Mummy Case, which is the third Amelia Peabody.

What I'm reading next

Dunno. Could be more Amelia, could be Lords and Ladies, or maybe I will go back to fiction I haven't read already, or more nonfiction. I still have comics to catch up on, too...
