I think I have to rewrite the entire second half of my remix. Ugh. Writing, why so difficult?

Have a random meme:

2) Your best story title and why
Most of my titles come from lyrics or lines of poetry (or West Wing episode titles), so I can't really take credit for them? But I will always be super fond of "Jockin' Mike D. to My Dismay." Also, "I'm not a sucker so I don't need a bodyguard."

3) Your worst story title and why
Aside from the raft of generic one-word titles I used in XMM (which are not even on AO3, so not part of this meme, I guess), "Angle of Incidence," maybe, only because it's not the story that originally had that title (which never got written), so whenever I see it, I'm like, "I don't even know what that is...oh." (It's the Dean/Veronica detective AU, but I actually had to go check to make sure.)

4) The most popular pairing/fandom you've written for (by the standard of how many stories exist for that pairing written by everyone on AO3)
Oh, easily Sam/Dean in Supernatural. I don't even really ship it hardcore? But I wrote a lot of it.

5) The rarest pairing fandom you've written for (by the standard of how many stories exist for that pairing written by everyone on AO3)
Holden Caulfield/Phoebe Caulfield, Catcher in the Rye. The only Catcher in the Rye incest story on AO3. I guess I'm proud? Idek.

6) The most popular OT3/moresome you've written for (by the standard of how many stories exist for that pairing written by everyone on AO3)
Harry/Ron/Hermione.

7) The rarest OT3/moresome you've written for (by the standard of how many stories exist for that pairing written by everyone on AO3)
Tim/Tam/Steph. I know, Tim + 2 girls = astonishingly unlikely, but I still like how it turned out.

8) First story and latest story you posted to AO3
I backdated everything, so I don't know what was actually posted first to AO3 vs. the older stuff I uploaded later, but my remix was the latest one.

9) Your top ten pairings on AO3
Sirius Black/Remus Lupin (62)
Dean Winchester/Sam Winchester (50)
James "Bucky" Barnes/Steve Rogers (36)
Lily Evans/James Potter (11)
Max Guevara | X5-452/Alec McDowell | X5-494 (10)
Nick Gant/Cassie Holmes (10)
James "Bucky" Barnes/Steve Rogers/Natasha Romanov (8)
Dick Grayson/Jason Todd (8)
Danny Ocean/Rusty Ryan (7)
Alexander the Great/Hephaistion (6)

10) How many stories have you written with no pairings/OT3/moresomes listed?
Okay, why not just ask how many gen stories I've written? The word for stories with no pairings/romance is gen. The answer is 177.

So I'll talk more tomorrow about the books I'm reading (I guess I forgot last week? I've been kind of scattered for a while now), but John Keegan's The First World War has made me tear up twice in the past two days while on the subway (Gallipoli, the Somme). And it's not even that he's an emotional writer - the prose is pretty dispassionate. but the subject matter is just heartbreaking to the core. And maybe that's why I've found it so overwhelming? I don't know.
