I really enjoyed Veronica Mars! It really seemed like an episode of the show. Just longer. And with closure. I didn't quite get the bit about Logan in the military - and, wow, he looked super-skinny in that uniform. :/ It was such an enjoyable movie. I did feel bad for Piz but, like my friend was saying, this movie was always going to end up with Logan and Veronica. The bit with Weevil was heartbreaking and there was something so so seedy about Neptune and the police force. It was very well done; noir is a good way to term it.
That soda bread looks very tasty. The soda bread that I'd be most used to doesn't tend to have any fruit in it at all but that looks good.
Yeah, it was like a double episode with lots of satisfying fanservice. Logan as a Naval fighter pilot strains credulity, though, without some backstory explaining how he survived the training, given his tendency to mouth off and throw punches at the slightest provocation. I guess it really was some kind of "An Officer and a Gentleman" thing. But I was so happy overall that I'm willing to handwave.

That is what I've heard, but it's good with raisins in it, if you don't mind having raisins in things.
The Naval thing didn't make much sense at all - for precisely those reasons. They're now talking about maybe doing a sequel and I don't know how I feel about it? I'd rather have a miniseries, at this point.
And I love raisins in all the thing so it sounds pretty tasty to me!
