I made sour cream cinnamon rolls this afternoon (pics), mostly because I'd had a lot of coffee this morning, but no breakfast. The plan was these would be brunch/lunch, but then they didn't rise! I was afraid I'd somehow killed the yeast, but I decided to try again by warming the oven to 200°F and then turning it off, and putting the bowl in there for another hour. It worked! The dough rose, so I rolled it out, put on the filling, and rolled it up again. Unfortunately, they cooked a couple minutes too long, but they taste fine. And next time I will probably cut the powdered sugar in the icing to 1/4 cup instead of 1/3, which is too sweet, imo. And it was 4pm by the time they were all done and ready, so not so much with the lunchable, but overall, I like them. Would make again!
