i knew much more then than i do now
Since I know you were all dying to know, last night when I got home, the second package with the other two dresses I ordered had arrived, so now I have three dresses to choose from. I like one of them - it's got 3/4 length sleeves, so I will probably wear it tomorrow - and the other one makes me look like I have feathers, so that one will be going back. So I'll have two nice new black dresses for occasions when such things are called for. Whew.
In other news, I rewatched the Skrull invasion episodes of Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes last night because I got a hankering for some Steve/Madame Viper, as you do, and there is still only ONE story on AO3 with that pairing, so I figured a rewatch was in order so I could write one myself. Now I just have to figure out how to make it work. Because Viper's not going to reform like Diamondback, and she's not like Catwoman, where her worst crimes are burglary and occasionally teaming up with the wrong people, so it's not going to have a happy ending. But she and Steve totally hooked up at least once after they got back to earth and before Bucky arrived and took all his attention away. I also really enjoy the episode where Viper escapes not just for the Viper/Steve bits but also because of how lovely Cap is with Spider-Man.
And I also rewatched the JLU episode "Wild Cards," which was enjoyable in and of itself, and also made me realize I can't completely hate "Epilogue," because of that amazing Batman-Ace (the girl, not the dog) scene, despite everything else revealed in the episode being completely WRONG.
I also watched Community, and while I thought it had some great moments, I didn't love it? I dunno. Maybe because it's such a cliche for the show to have the group turn on each other and then make up etc.
In other tv news, ABC discusses Agent Carter script at the TCAs and Deadline reports that Tara Butters & Michele Fazekas Shepherding ‘Agent Carter’ For ABC & Marvel (aka, the showrunners from Reaper)+. Two ladies writing a show about an awesome Cold War era lady spy? Please let this get greenlit and please don't let it suck!
