You know what I ship? Jenny & Captain Irving. You know what I don't ship, Crane and his epic manpain. I mean, the guy is justified in that everyone he ever loved is gone and his wife lied to him constantly about everything, but they really laid it on thick and at the last moment with the baby. Can we just have the Mills girls be Cranes descendants and call it done?
I like that they mostly shut his manpain down, though. Previously, Abbie was like, "no time for your manpain, Crane!" I hope they continue in that vein going forward.
I didn't think they dwelt on his manpain at all - I mean, they *could* amp it up going forward, but hopefully they'll continue to play it as "it sucks that he's lost so much but we have an apocalypse to stop."
Also as someone pointed out in my Katrina Love Fest thread, she is the one who totally deserves some angsty mourning tree slashing. She's been awake and aware since whatever happened to the baby happened. At least Ich got to basically sleep through everything bad.
I do not understand why people dislike her character. I think considering she gets the very least amount of screen time out of all them, she has a seriously awesome back story. Witchywoman is STRONG.
