I agree with both of these peeves and have one of my own to add: the character tag "you." As in, there are people who are writing RPF of "Benedict Cumberbatch/you" or "Michael Fassbender/you." WHAT THE FUCK?

...I've never seen that with RPF, though I do recall seeing it way back in the day in XMM fandom with Wolverine. I guess it's like a Choose Your Own Porn Adventure?

But doesn't that presume that any given reader has at least a baseline of similarity with every other reader? It just baffles me.
