It's a shame that the ratings have apparently been terrible, because I would have enjoyed seeing this become a regular series. Or at least seeing another six or twelve episodes about Elaine's campaign for president. And maybe TJ finally pulling himself up out of his downward spiral.
I was surprised they killed off Garcetti. I was afraid it would be TJ (such a terrible cliche!) but had figured the VP would be a goner and Garcetti would offer the slot to Elaine.
I was watching with my parents, so of course, we discussed the West Wing where for twenty-four hours, Leo had been in charge because nobody had done the letter, and then later when Zoey was kidnapped and Jed stepped down until she was found.
I'm also not sure how I feel about how the newspaper stuff played out, but I really liked that the editor dude realized it was his fault for sleeping with his employees.
TJ playing the piano at the end = ♥ Also his scene with Margaret was lovely.
