touch me once and you'll know it's true

Ugh. Up way too late last night but I 1. finally got them in bed together. sleeping only at this point, but it's a start. and 2. figured out how to work the final scenes without having to write a lot of big actiony plot stuff. I think. What seemed like a good idea at 1 am may just be more smoke and nonsense in the cold light of day. Still, I think I know how to get where I need to go now, which is heartening, 11k words in. *snerk* The actual writing part may still drive me nuts, but at least now I'm not completely asea?

White Collar

I am surprised, but pleased, that they didn't move Peter right back to White Collar after one episode. This episode was everything enjoyable about the show, except not enough El, Diana, or Jones. Moz is back, Peter is adorable, Neal needs to be shirtless but keep the beard, and June needs to appear. That is all I care about. I am less thrilled about Neal's daddy issues. I don't really care? I don't feel like this show needs an overall arc beyond Neal's slow slide to the law enforcement side, but I really don't think his dad being a murderer (when he clearly isn't! I mean, has television (and most recently, Castle) taught us nothing? There is going to be some crazy conspiracy where Neal's dad was forced to confess and take the fall for a ring of dirty cops or something. Meh.) is going to improve anything. On the upside, no more Nazi treasure? Please?

I can't decide if the camera loves NYC or Matt Bomer more, but it sure is nice to watch while I try and figure it out.

NEW GASLIGHT ANTHEM YESTERDAY!

\o/

I already love "45," "Handwritten," "Here Comes My Man," and "Teenage Rebellion" and that's only after listening twice. <3 <3 <3

Also, Nick Hornby wrote the introduction in the liner notes.

I am totally going to see them this time around. Somehow.
