You know, on the one hand, I can't believe it's May already. On the other hand, I can't believe I still have to work today. I'm flying out to see

devildoll tomorrow so we can go see Avengers together, and I feel like I have been waiting FOREVER. Both for the movie and the trip. WHAT DO YOU MEAN THERE'S STILL TWENTY-FOUR HOURS TO GO BEFORE I GET ON THE PLANE? Ahem.
Also, I'm too antsy about the movie to write, which is unfortunate, because all my wsip will be summarily jossed. And I'm okay with that, mostly? But I'm also afraid that it's totally going to kill my desire to write anything. Of course, I'm always afraid that each story I finish will be the last story I finish, so it's not like it's not a constant anxiety anyway. *hands*
ANYWAY. Monthly roundups:
Top 5 songs
5.
To the Bone - Thea Gilmore
4.
American Slang - Gaslight Anthem
3.
All This and Heaven Too - Florence + the Machine
2.
Surrenderer - Empires
2.
Homewrecked - Empires
I woke up with this in my head a lot this month. Mostly it makes me say, "Oh, Bucky." *hands* Yes, I am in that stage where every song reminds me of my current OTPs. But really, "Don't be afraid of anything. You're never going back again." I can't help it.

Speaking of Jessica Alba, I watched Fantastic Four last night for the first time since I saw it in the theaters and oh wow, I had kind of forgotten how not good it was. I skipped it on my tour of Chris Evans movies, but tumblr made me remember I kind of ship Johnny/Sue in the movie (~quelle surprise~), and they did have nice chemistry. Plus, he lights himself on fire. I'm not sure how I'm supposed to resist that. I suppose I will have to track down the second one to see if that continues - I never saw it in the theater - but I can't imagine it's any better. (in the interests of full disclosure, I do ship Johnny Storm with Peter Parker, but that is practically canon anyway, and there are very few people I don't ship Peter Parker with, or at least there are very few people I'd be averse to him having a good time with, anyway. but this post is not about my epic Peter Parker feels.) (also, also, I feel like I should totally be able to use my "socially awkward firebenders" tag for Johnny: y/y? or at least, "flamey-o, hotman!")
All of which I was telling
![](http://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
angelgazing this morning and I mentioned that I have kind of a soft spot for JAlba because of Dark Angel, where she and Jensen had smoking hot chemistry, and then we were talking about how Jensen is still really, really ridiculously good-looking and how now that I don't watch SPN anymore, I kind of forget that, and then I see pics of him and it's like being punched in the face with handsomeness. Which is actually my tag for him on tumblr. *hands* I love my tumblr tags.
And now iTunes is playing "I and Love and You," which totally makes me tear up on the Steve/Bucky front. I am totally writing a story titled "Brooklyn, Brooklyn, Take Me In."
I AM A MESSY TANGLE OF FEELINGS IS WHAT I'M SAYING.
Why do I have to work? I just want to spew feelings all over the internets.
