I guess I started this entry last night and then got distracted:

I swear to god, I am more impressed with him every week, and I am already pretty impressed. Haters to the left, man. Eli Manning gets shit done. Now if they can just keep it going in the playoffs. no, I know, they are probably one and done, but I can still hope!
While all y'all were watching Sherlock, I was watching the Giants beat the Cowboys and IT WAS GLORIOUS.
And this afternoon, the Rangers are playing the Flyers in the Winter Classic. I AM EXCITE.

I read a lot more books (and comics - they totally count in the final total) this year than I have in the past few years, mostly, I think because of the iPad and the combined factors of 1. having paid for it I was going to use it, dammit, 2. new and shiny!, and 3. it meant I could have as many books as I wanted with me without weighing my bag down.
I finished the year by reading Carpe Jugulum, which I enjoyed a lot, though I found the initial premise that kicked off the book a little hard to swallow. I don't know that I believe that Granny Weatherwax would believe that Magrat wouldn't invite her to the christening, nor that she'd believe that Nanny and Agnes and Magrat were replacing her. So instead of a full 5 stars, I think it's only a 4.5. Still fantastic, though.

I have started my
white_lotus story! I am probably going to completely scrap what I've written and restart, but at least it's something? *hands*
Also, I was sort of thrown for a loop by my picfor1000 assignment, but I think I have come up with something good. Hopefully I can actually do the source justice.

Lastly, Pinboard appears to be down. This makes me twitchy. I still need to add author names to all my yuletide recs and get them up on
unfitforsociety. Maybe while I'm watching the hockey this afternoon.
