I don't know that I can respect Sara anymore for not telling Peter about the treasure. I mean, we know he knows Neal has it, but she doesn't know that, and I don't know how she could look at herself in the mirror, holding onto that secret.
Otoh, how fabulous was that conversation with El in the car? They are all so very married. ♥
After watching this ep, I now want a movie of the Nightwing/Huntress team-up, where Matt Bomer plays Dick and Eliza Dushku plays Helena, because that would be hot.
Speaking of comic book movies, silveronthetree made me this awesome Bucky/Steve icon. Look at that eye-fucking! ♥

In yet more Marvel news, did all y'all see the announcement that the new (Ultimate) Spider-man would be a half-African-American/half-Latino kid? I AM EXCITE.
To be honest, I never understood why, when they created Ultimate Spidey, they didn't just make Peter black or South Asian or Korean, considering he is a nerdy kid from Queens being raised by his fierce church-going aunt. (I mean, I understood, but I thought it was a huge opportunity that was missed.) Or at least cast Donald Glover in the new movie (though I personally would have liked to have seen Danny Pudi as Peter). So this makes a lot of sense to me.
Hopefully, this Miles Morales kid will get a nice long run as Spider-man and they won't take it away from him and bring Peter back to life, which is what often happens to legacy characters. I understand that one of the tenets of the Ultimate-verse is that characters who are dead stay dead, but who knows how long that will last?
Anyway, even as cynical as I am, this still pleases me.
I feel like there was something else I wanted to say, but I can't remember what it was, so maybe I will try to write now. Last night, I added 500 words - all of them smutty! - to the threesome story. And now I also have this Bruce/Clark/Lois idea I might write. I dunno. We'll see. I feel anxious talking about any kind of writing right now, since it has all been so painfully slow.
