[crossposting from DW completely failed numerous times, so this is a manual crosspost]
= I keep turning my TV on Sunday at 10 pm expecting Leverage, but apparently Leverage is on at 9 pm. I don't know why my brain can't absorb this information, but I've now missed, like, five episodes because I also keep forgetting to set the DVR to record it. *facepalm*
= Last night, I had a lovely dinner with bethbethbeth and midnitemaraud_r. the restaurant was only ten blocks from my apartment, but the heat was so bad yesterday I thought I was going to melt.
= This morning, the Starbucks by me was closed (!!!) apparently due to a power outage(?) so I went searching for coffee and ended up in Agata & Valentina, a store I had assiduously avoided for the past 8 years because it looks like I could spend all my money in there and never be satisfied.
I restrained myself and only bought a couple of items, but man, if I had more people to cook for, I would totally go nuts with the produce and the meat and the fresh pasta. They were taking a peach cobbler out of the oven in the bakery area when I walked by and it smelled so good. Sigh. I did not get the iced coffee I was looking for, though. I had to go elsewhere for that.
= I basically wasted the whole day playing bubble spinner and looking at gifs from the Korra trailer, and tomorrow I have to go to work.
= OR DO I? Temp Super said that they'd come by 8 am so I could let them in and then leave, but we'll see what happens. I just want the hole closed up, because I can't stand thinking about what kind of bugs are now making their home in my bathroom. *shudders* I will definitely make sure to be home for the exterminator next month.
= I guess I have about an hour before bedtime. Maybe I will write. Or read. Or play some more bubble spinner. Sigh. I think that's it for today. My exciting life, let me show you it.
