Last night, I made
cranberry orange muffins. They're very tasty, but next time around, I think I will skip the orange sugar on top. Between that and the glaze, that is a lot of sugar.
On the upside, yay for a glaze that doesn't have 3 tons of sugar in it! And actually reduces down to a syrup as the recipe claims it will!
Only one picture of the finished muffins, because I feel like looking at pictures of batter might be fun for me but not for anyone else. I mean, I actually took pics of the dry ingredients and the wet ingredients and then the combined ingredients etc. but I didn't really think anyone else would be interested in looking at them. I mean, "ooh, a bowl of flour." it's not exactly scintillating stuff, and it's not even really pretty, like you see on food blogs, because I'm a terrible photographer (well, and the lighting in my kitchen is terrible). I don't usually let that stop me, but meh. I am feeling very meh about everything right now.
I have a ton of work writing to do that's due ASAP and I don't want to do any of it. Sigh.
