Day 09 - Best scene ever

Man, there are so many possibilities. Just off the top of my head:

The clothes fluke, "Homecoming," BtVS (I had to get one shippy scene in here)

"I’m a sixteen year old girl and I don’t want to die." "Prophecy Girl," BtVS

ANYA: (crying) I don't understand how this all happens. How we go through this. I mean, I knew her, and then she's, (sniffling) there's just a body, and I don't understand why she just can't get back in it and not be dead anymore. It's stupid. It's mortal and stupid. (still teary) And, and Xander's crying and not talking, and, and I was having fruit punch, and I thought, well, Joyce will never have any more fruit punch ever, and she'll never have eggs, or yawn or brush her hair, not ever, and no one will explain to me why. "The Body," BtVS

The yellow crayon scene, "Grave," BtVS

Okay, I need to quote it:
XANDER: Yeah, I get that. It's just, where else am I gonna go? You've been my best friend my whole life. World gonna end ... where else would I want to be?
WILLOW: Is this the master plan? You're going to stop me by telling me you love me?
XANDER: Well, I was going to walk you off a cliff and hand you an anvil, but ... it seemed kinda cartoony.
WILLOW: Still making jokes.
XANDER: I'm not joking. I know you're in pain. I can't imagine the pain you're in. And I know you're about to do something apocalyptically evil and stupid, and hey. I still want to hang. You're Willow.
WILLOW: Don't call me that.
XANDER: First day of kindergarten. You cried because you broke the yellow crayon, and you were too afraid to tell anyone. You've come pretty far, ending the world, not a terrific notion. But the thing is? Yeah. I love you. I loved crayon-breaky Willow and I love ... scary veiny Willow. So if I'm going out, it's here. If you wanna kill the world? Well, then start with me. I've earned that.
WILLOW: You think I won't?
XANDER: It doesn't matter. I'll still love you.
WILLOW: Shut up.
XANDER: I love you. I ... love y-
WILLOW: Shut up!
XANDER: I love you, Willow.
WILLOW: Stop!
XANDER: I love you.
WILLOW: Stop.
XANDER: I love you.

Which of course leads to the very similar scene in the s5 finale of SPN. *sniffle*

Coach and Mrs. Coach surveying the empty field in "Mud Bowl," Friday Night Lights.

Matt Saracen, filling his father's grave. "The Son," Friday Night Lights

Stringer and Avon’s last scene in The Wire’s season 3 finale - I get chills just thinking about it

The climactic scene of "Powerless," Life.

Olivia Dunham rescuing herself with a glass beaker, "Ability," Fringe.

The whole climactic scene of "Safe," Firefly, "Light it." Simon really is an awesome big brother. "What’s that make us, Zoe?" "Big damn heroes, sir."

The ending of "In Excelsis Deo," with the funeral and the choir singing "Little Drummer Boy," The West Wing

"I'm just saying, if you were in an accident, I wouldn’t stop for a beer." "If you were in an accident, I wouldn’t stop for red lights." "17 People," The West Wing

"I serve at the pleasure of the President, and it's a great privilege that I will never forget (removes NSC card from his wallet). I can't keep this. I think it's a white flag of surrender. I want to be a comfort to my friends in tragedy and I want to be able to celebrate with them in triumph. And for all the times in between I just want to be able to look them in the eye. Leo, it's not for me. I want to be with my family, my friends, and these women." "The Crackpots and These Women," The West Wing

This guy's walking down a street, when he falls in a hole. The walls are so steep, he can't get out. A doctor passes by, and the guy shouts up "Hey you! Can you help me out?" The doctor writes him a prescription, throws it down the hole and moves on. Then a priest comes along and the guy shouts up "Father, I'm down in this hole, can you help me out?" The priest writes out a prayer, throws it down in the hole and moves on. Then a friend walks by. "Hey Joe, it's me, can you help me out?" And the friend jumps in the hole! Our guy says "Are you stupid? Now we're both down here!" and the friend says, "Yeah, but I've been down here before, and I know the way out." "Noel," The West Wing

"You're a son of a bitch, you know that? She bought her first new car and you hit her with a drunk driver. What? Was that supposed to be funny? "You can't conceive, nor can I, the appalling strangeness of the mercy of God," says Graham Greene. I don't know whose ass he was kissing there, 'cause I think you're just vindictive. What was Josh Lyman - a warning shot? That was my son. What did I ever do to yours but praise his glory and praise his name? There's a tropical storm that's gaining speed and power. They say we haven't had a storm this bad since you took out that tender ship of mine in the North Atlantic last year. Sixty-eight crew. You know what a tender ship does? Fixes the other ships. It doesn't even carry guns. It just goes around, fixes the other ships and delivers the mail. That's all it can do. Gratias tibi ago, domine. Yes, I lied. It was a sin. I've committed many sins. Have I displeased you, you feckless thug?

"3.8 million new jobs, that wasn't good? Bailed out Mexico. Increased foreign trade. Thirty million new acres of land for conservation. Put Mendoza on the bench. We're not fighting a war. I've raised three children. That's not enough to buy me out of the doghouse? Haec credam a deo pio, a deo iusto, a deo scito? Cruciatus in crucem. Trus in terra servus, nuntius fui, officium perfeci. Cruciatus in crucem. Eas in crucem.

"You get Hoynes." "Two Cathedrals," The West Wing

The power walk through the halls of the West Wing and then in the rain, set to the strains of "Brothers in Arms," "Two Cathedrals," The West Wing

"You know, everyday I get out of bed and drag myself to the next cup of coffee. I take a sip and the caffeine kicks in. I can focus my eyes again. My brain starts to order the day. I'm up, I'm alive. I'm ready to rock. But the time is coming when I wake up and decide that I'm not getting out of bed. Not for coffee, or food or sex. If it comes to me, fine. If it won't, fine. No more expectations. The longer I live, the less I know. I should know more. I should know the coffee's killing me. You're suspicious of your suspicions? I'm jealous. I'm so jealous. You still have the heart to have doubts. Me? I'm going to lock up a 14 year old kid for what could be the rest of his natural life. I got to do this. This is my job. This is the deal. This is the law. This is my day. I have no doubts or suspicions about it. Heart has nothing to do with it anymore. It's all in the caffeine." "Every Mother’s Son," HLotS

"I'm saying you got a darkness, Tim Bayliss, you got a darkness inside of you. You gotta know the darker, uglier sides of yourself. You gotta recognize them, so they're not constantly sneaking up on you; you gotta love 'em because they're part of you, because along with your virtues they make you who you are. Virtue isn't virtue unless it slams up against vice, so consequently, your virtue is not real virtue until it's been tested... tempted." "A Many Splendored Thing," HLotS

And there's many more I've left out because I didn't think of them while I was typing this up. But in the end, it comes down to two scenes for me, and I don't know how to choose between them.

1. Angelus: Now that's everything, huh? No weapons... No friends... No hope. Take all that away... and what's left?
Buffy: Me.
"Becoming 2", BTVS

2. Frank on the steps at the end of "Crosetti." HLotS
