Oh, man, they gave me everything I ever wanted in a Chuck episode in this one - Ellie finds out! She and Awesome and Morgan get involved in spyjinks! Papa Bartowski loves his kids but fucked them up by leaving them, and by making Ellie responsible for Chuck at age 12! MAMA BARTOWSKI WILL FINALLY SHOW UP AND SHE IS A SPY TOO! Dear god, let them get someone good to play her! Mary McDonnell would be awesome if they can't get Lena Olin. *G*
With the flashbacks and the Chuck-Ellie stuff, all I could think was 1. Ellie is an awesome big sister, and 2. Ellie needs to be in group therapy with Dean Winchester for kids who were forced to raise their younger siblings by obsessive parents. When she was all, "I can't protect you if you're a spy!" I totally had flashes of Dean telling Sam not to use his powers, not to leave, etc. etc., and Dean finally learned to let Sam make his own decisions, so hopefully we'll see Ellie manage that next season with Chuck.
I also laughed at all the Star Wars references, since I just watched Star Wars and Empire Strikes Back on Saturday for the first time in ages, and General Beckman going all, "You're our only hope" as she flickered in and out was hilarious. Plus, Casey and his daughter! ILU JOHN CASEY!!
I also enjoyed last night's Big Bang Theory. Zach was afraid their laser would blow up the moon! Even Sheldon though Penny could do better! hee!

I went to bed at a reasonable hour, but I am ridiculously sleepy. I need this long weekend so bad.
