these graces that hold me

All night I've tried to answer comments and all night it has been excruciatingly slow, or telling me that I've tried the site too often and must be a bot. I realize they're having some kind of server issue, but gah! WORK, DAMN YOU! I need to answer comments so I can stop feeling guilty about the backlog and then maybe I can write again!

The Good Wife

While I wasn't sure they were going to go with the plea bargain, once the judge announced they had, I knew the jury had acquitted her. Such a shame.

I especially like that both Kalinda and Diane know about Alicia and Will. Like, they don't have any proof (well, possibly Kalinda does), but they know. I'm sure that's going to blow up in their faces soon enough (Will and Alicia, I mean).

KALINDA PWNS ALL!

Seriously, where is the Kalinda/Veronica Mars ethically challenged, intellectually fierce lady detective AU? WHERE? I MUST HAVE IT!

I also enjoyed Diane and Gary Cole, but I think Diane should have known that sleeping with him and then hiring him would look bad, regardless. Avoid the near occasion of sin, and all.

As if being Dan Rydell isn't enough. Josh Charles has to say things like this in interviews:

Last question: We’ve seen what Will does when he works late. What about you? What do you keep with you on set?
I bring my guitar a lot. I'm a big blues fan, so I play old acoustic blues. Right now, I'm in a Skip James phase, so I'm trying to learn a lot of his tunes, which are really complicated. I started playing guitar later in my life, but it's a real passion of mine. I'm working on trying to write a screenplay now about an old blues musician, so it’s part of me. I'm also studying Italian, so I bring my Italian books and work on that. And I bring my Scrabble on my iPhone. (source)
