(here from friends of) So lovely! I used to love reading Remus/Sirius and haven't in so long and will now probably spend the better part of the rest of the morning searching it out. Thank you.

I particularly loved this:
He places it gently on the counter and fumbles with the strange Muggle notes. He used to be good at this, used to move between the two worlds like he belonged to both of them. Now he doesn't belong anywhere. He's as much a relic as this old bit of vinyl and cardboard.

The depth of feeling here is just so real and there's a wonderful sense of time and distance and age and I kind of love it a lot.
