it sways gently side to side

I gave up on work about 3:45 this afternoon and spent my last 75 minutes redoing the food tags on my delicious, so now they are more specific and I can more easily find what I'm looking for. (Oddly enough, I don't have near the same problem finding stories with non-specific tags - I'm not sure why that is.)

So tonight I baked this raspberry Read more... )

Oh, man. I love that cake. I've made it a few times now and every time I try to remind myself to MAKE IT AGAIN. :)

Honestly, you mentioned the crying and I did a mental recap of S4, and I don't think I've managed to make it through an episode without crying either.

At least this one had some major lulz as well. I think I favorite parts had to be the crazy assistant coach defending Vince and Luke at Sears. I'd totes forgotten about his day job. And, like you mentioned, Gracie's "uh oh", and Tami's "You're my favorite daughter" were so darling.

HOW CAN I LOVE A SHOW SET IN TEXAS THIS MUCH? I AM EAST COAST THRU AND THRU.

Yeah, the assistant coach redeemed himself for his dumb guarantee to win by standing up for the boys. And I also really liked Eric's "I support you 100%" when Tami was ranting.

I've made that recipe (or one pretty similar) and they can come out a little dry, so really cream the butter and sugar until they're super light. Otherwise, they're YUM.

Matt Saracen is my favorite character on that show, mostly because he continually breaks my heart and I want nothing more than for him and Julie to have a happy ending.

And just to prove how good this show is, Time Magazine named it as one of the best 10 shows of 2009!

I draw a million sparkly hearts around Matt Saracen. I just want good things for him because he's had so much crap in his life. *smishes him*

I think I'm getting fatter just reading about your adventures in baking. But mmmm, I am totally making that cake. It looks a lot like a cranberry one I got from Gourmet mag. years ago.

That's why I'm always giving it all away! I am fat enough as it is! I bet it would just as good with cranberries. Or blueberries. Or orange flavoring. Mmm...cake...
