I love that Dean watches 'A League of Their Own.' I can just picture him mouthing along to Tom Hanks, going, "There's no crying in baseball! There's no crying in baseball!!" ROFL

Great job! And the thought of Sammy hanging up on a drunk-dialling Dean breaks my heart, FYI.

Dean totally loves "A League of Their Own." It has hot chicks and baseball.

Thank you. I'm glad you liked the story.

He never quite got used to being alone, but maybe Sam has.

And that's when I broke clean in half, and 1997 Dean's insight into his little brother is just so damn poignant. Such a great, nuanced look into all the ways they've tried to get better, be better to each other, through the years.

Thank you so much. I'm so happy it worked for you and felt true to both of them.

Oh, boys. I can so see Sam being all persnickety and marking his boundaries down in tape. It hurts that it stuck with Dean so much, becoming a way to try to draw Sam back into his life.

Thank you so much. I totally think Sam was very much a kid who needed his own space, and that hasn't changed, as much as he's resigning himself to hunting. And I think Dean is learning to give him that space. I hope.
