Preseason, but whatever. Given how crappy the Mets' season has been, I am ready to focus on the Giants. (Though, seriously, why do ESPN's announcers suck so hard?) I am sad that Amani Toomer and Derek Ward are gone, but I'm hoping Domenik Hixon, Sinorice Moss, and those guys they drafted will come into their own as receivers, and there's still Brandon Jacobs and Ahmad Bradshaw in the backfield, plus, Osi Umenyiora is back on defense, so. I am hopeful. Not too much so, because, hey, it's the Giants, and failing is part of the package.

Land by sweetestdrain (Terminator Universe)
This is truly epic (it's 9 minutes long), but you don't feel the length. It's really headtrippy, too - all about the possibilities inherent in the Terminator universe - everything they do changes something, somewhere, and all outcomes are possible. And as much as I've liked Lena Headey's Sarah, it was awesome to see Linda Hamilton's again. Jesus, that woman was fierce.

Oh, this show. Oh, my heart. I basically cried the whole way through this one, so have tissues handy. Everything that was awesome about The West Wing is on display in this vid.
I'm Not Dead by dualbunny (BSG)
The third in her Kara/Pink trilogy, heavy on s4 Kara. this one made me cry, too. Oh, Kara. You'll always be my tv girlfriend! (The other two vids are also quintessential Starbuck, and should be watched: God Is a DJ and Cuz I Can.)
Make Your Own Kind of Music by barkley (Multifandom)
This also made me cry with happiness for seeing so many of my favoritest shows and characters (McMurphy! Pembleton! Fleischman!). ♥
It's kind of hilarious to me, because I am really not much of a vid watcher, but this year a lot of the vids I've checked out have really worked for me. So maybe I'm finally learning how to watch them? Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks?
