Had a lovely fangirl brunch this afternoon with dotfic, innie_darling, and tenaciousmetoo, and then dotfic left us, and the three of us remaining went to see Jensen in My Bloody Valentine 3D.
Personally, I would still be far more interested in a movie about the band My Bloody Valentine (named for the movie, natch), and that I am not a fan of slasher flicks, nor of horror in general, and that I had never seen the original. All that being said, I thought the movie was hilarious. Jensen is exceptionally pretty, he does fine with what he's given - the writing is, well, it's pretty dumb, and really, Jensen's was the only character I cared about - well, him and the two old guys. I'd have probably cared about Deputy Big Love if he'd had any lines. Jensen is very pretty, though they shouldn't have covered up his freckles. Kerr Smith has poor facial hair, and Jaime King is pretty as a redhead.
Then we had hot chocolate and more fannish conversation, which sparked my desire to rewatch Veronica Mars. Man, the first season of this show was awesome. Veronica! Keith! Wallace! Cliff! Weevil! Backup! ♥ Possibly I will end up shipping Veronica/Wallace this time around. I feel that is a possibility, though the Veronica/Weevil is always simmering, as well. I still have plans to finish the two Dean/Veronica wsip I have. Possibly this will help.
