I am always amused when I get kripked! It happens so rarely, while jossing is a common event. I'm glad you enjoyed this, either way.

My Big Bang was completely Kripked by Mystery Spot, which was very disconcerting at first. Then I figured, what the heck, it's not like that was a totally new idea or anything.

I think it's slightly different when it's something you come up with on your own? I mean, I've written a couple of post-eps that anticipated the next episode, and I think that just means the show is doing its job, you know? But when you come up with something that isn't really that tied to the actual progression of events, and then it happens - that's really disconcerting.

I started writing Leonard Cohen Afterworld before I learned there was going to be a wish episode, and I busted my ass to get it done before WIAWSNB aired, even though there were large differences between it and my story. Now I've had a couple ideas lying around that I meant to get to that are apparently going to show up on the show this season, and I do kind of want to get my own version of them done before that happens. Huh.
