I love the Lucifer of Sandman and the spinoff series, so thank you extremely much for this little shot of him. And Ruby parading around in Dean's mangled corpse is supremely creepy. Good stuff.

Thank you! The cosmologies don't quite line up, but I think it makes for some interesting friction to think of Dean stuck in a post-Lucifer hell only because he doesn't know he doesn't have to stay there. And Sam will lay the smackdown on Remiel, I'm sure. *g* When I was writing this, I was a little surprised at how much he does resemble Lucifer.

Lucifer pointing out the ways that Sam is like him, the pride? PWNS. Too often, Sam forgets that fault of his, and he has to remember his weaknesses, lest he trip himself.

As I was writing, I was just like, "wow, Sam, you really have to watch your step. You're more like Lucifer than you could possibly know."

Oooh, Michael. *sniff* I am still annoyed that he died.

Sigh. Me, too. Archangel OTP for the win. *g*

Sam..has a lot of qualities that Lucifer sees in himself, but Lucifer? Has had a lot of time to realize that he is that way, and Sam still wants to think otherwise.

Hee! Yes, Lucifer has had billions of years for self-examination, and Sam's only had 25. *g* Of course he's more adjusted to seeing the darker sides of himself than Sam is.
