OK. This is awesome, this is so very awesome, the slow return of Dean, the way their relationship just evolves, slowly changes through time because it is them and it just happens, and it is both heart-breaking and heart-warming, and it is just so very cool.

This was really good. I kind of broke up with Supernatural for a while (say hello to the gender issues of season 3) but this was great. Just a slow, lovely story that reminded me of what I initially loved about the Winchesters in the first place. My faith is officially renewed!

Also, Dean was awesome and hilarious and houserwife!Sam was THE EPITOME OF PERFECTION.

Hee! Thank you so much! And yeah, the show definitely has sketchy race and gender issues and I keep trying to ameliorate them with fic so I don't have to give it up, because I love the Winchesters so much. Sigh.
