Friday Night Lights
Tami! Coaching volleyball! Recruiting Tyra! Maybe she will take Tim under her wing, too, and make him her asst. coach. I love how Tyra gets into it, and Tami gets into it, and how supportive coach is after he roped her into it. I am also happy to see Tami interacting with the Taylors. And I think Landry's new friend is a better fit for him romantically than Tyra ever was.
Jason and Herc having a lovers' quarrel at the car dealership! Buddy Garrity, for all his sleaziness, actually has his heart in the right place sometimes. Jason! Selling cars! I liked it better when you were coaching football, but at least you made a sale! Go you!
Logan needs to get rid of his awful, awful hair. it is very distracting and ugly. Also, he preaches. I am scared. I also care absolutely nothing about Lyla and Tim's feelings for her.
Oh, Tim. I really hope you don't end up dead. Or in jail. God. Also, I want Tami to let you help coach. Also, Billy, i understand you want to protect Tim, but you are a moron. Do not antagonize the large men with guns!
I really have nothing to say about Smash's storyline. I am not pleased. I could rant, but I won't.

Anyone got any good recs for Regency romances? It's been a while and I am in the mood, and I have an Amazon gift certificate...
[eta] I guess I should elaborate, so I don't waste anyone's time. Up until a few years ago, I'd read extensively in the genre, so I am looking for things that are more recent. Carla Kelly is my overall favorite (see tag on the sidebar) (though I loathed her latest), and my favorite books not by her are Heyer's Devil's Cub and Scandal Bound by um... Anita Mills. I've read and enjoyed Loretta Chase, Jo Beverly, Mary Jo Putney, Mary Balogh, Marion Chesney and various others, just to give you a range - as you can see, there's no one particularly recent. I don't need there to be sex, but I prefer the ones with banter and a social whirl to ones with heavier/darker themes or complicated spy plots etc. [/eta]
