rock'n'roll is here to stay

Good lord, could last night's House have been any more BORING? I did not care about one thing that happened. Also, I admit, I am still holding season 7 of Homicide against Michael Michele. I look at her and all I can think is "I got beat down and got my gun took." Wilson and Cuddy were the only bright spots for me this week.

Bones, otoh, continues ( Read more... )

technology is not my friend, we make our own fun, tv: bones, tv: house, dreams

Of course.

And I'm sad that Daltrey got so many votes. Compared to Townshend? Come ON.

At least Phil Collins trails Peter Gabriel by a satisfying margin.

That was fun! Thanks for it!

I like his voice. Well, back before it was shot. I dunno. When I was a wee!vic and we used to talk about this, everybody always talked about Pete Townshend and how he was so awesome and blah blah blah, and of course he is, that's evident to anyone with ears, so I think I just always picked Daltrey because nobody else did. And now it's an ingrained habit.

I did enjoy House last night, but in retrospect that may have been mostly because (A) Useless Guy finally did something and (B) Useless Guy finally left.

Hee! That is true. I also didn't like how it was all, "Foreman's wrong! Foreman's wrong!" but then he turned out to be right all along, but it still didn't sit right with me.

Oh, I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought House was boring. I wasn't even half paying attention because nothing really grabbed me.

I'm not really a fan of Michael Michelle. I didn't like her when she was on ER and I haven't liked her in the Homicide repeats I've seen, so...I could do without her. The other new ducklings are OK, I guess. I like 13 and I love that House calls the Mormon guy "Big Love".

Reading everyone's comments on yesterday's poll was fun! It's funny that everyone has a strong opinion of one or two things (like you with Bowie and me with Jim Morrison), but then maybe has no opinion at all on others.

It was just SO DULL.

And I like Kal Penn. I wish they'd ditch Cutthroat Bitch, though. *shudders*

And it's not that I don't like Bowie - I do like some of his music, quite a bit, actually - I just don't get the adoration.

Amen to that. I can't stand her.

That is exactly how I feel about Morrison and the Doors. Too funny!

As a friend of mine likes to say, "That's why they make chocolate, and that's why they make vanilla."

I sort of took the poll, but in the end closed the tab because I could not live with some of the choices. It was too much!

Speaking of dreams, last night I had this bizarre dream where I made Mal Reynolds Dean and Sam's older brother. And he spent most of his time with his crew, but he was there for Dean and Sam if they needed him -- and Sam was looking forward to telling him about Dean's deal so he could yell at him. It was very strange yet made perfect sense.

Mal yelling at Dean would be something to see.
