never gonna stop, never gonna stay

a. So Heroes actually managed to be interesting occasionally, for the first time all season, it feels like. Possibly we have Nathan's crazy hair to thank for that. I think it's trying to out-emote Kyle Chandler's Hair, and that just ain't gonna happen.

2. Chuck is adorable, and I am totally shipping Sarah/Casey. Also, there should be SPN crossovers - Chuck and Sam's time at Stanford overlaps! (also, I really want an SPN episode where Sam has to go back to Stanford and face people he knew.) Also, that actor playing Bryce looks *so familiar*. Who is that? I keep thinking it's Parker from Buffy, but I'm not sure it actually is.

c. I did finish The Egyptologist and the last few pages did not change my assessment. However, I was reading the reader's guide questions and the last set of questions took me aback. Are there people reading who didn't know from the get-go that Trilipush was really Paul Caldwell and that he was a big giant lying lieface and faker of antiquities? I'll admit, I thought he'd be Marlowe's lover instead of just his unwanted pupil, but come on! It was telegraphed from the beginning, so I'm kind of shocked they even felt the need to put that question in there. (the question: Were you surprised by the ending of The Egyptologist? How does the tone of the novel change in the final scenes? How does your perception of Trilipush and what he has achieved change?) Do they think we're stupid?

iv. So I signed up for spn_holidays, though I am a little ascared of some of the requests. There were a couple people who asked for girl!Sam, though, and I offered that, so possibly I will get lucky. I like my requests; I made sure to have two that anyone could match, amidst the het. *g*

5. Don't forget to ask me questions! I am looking forward to answering them when work is boring and I should be writing.
