just chill 'til the next episode
Spent the afternoon "researching" women's undergarments in the Regency era (corsets and shifts but no panties. Dean approves.) and have 4,360 words of the story and finally am getting to the fun parts. I hope. I have a feeling this story is going to grow in the beta, because the bad guy is not menacing at all right now, and it's really exposition-heavy. Sigh.
Had a lovely dinner with mousapelli, marksykins, goldie, maxine_chan and starrysummer at Ollie's Noodle Shop (the one on Broadway across from the IMAX theatre), and then we went to some bar on 72nd Street to hang out and have a lot of fannish talk (much of it was over my head as it was all jpop and animanga stuff, but we also talked Deathly Hallows). They were all going to the midnight showing of OotP, but I have plans tomorrow, so I decided to be a responsible adult and come home instead.
Sadly, I now have the hiccups, which are making me kind of insanely annoyed.
I came home expecting my flist to be full of people reporting on the SPN panel at Comic-Con and yet, there are none. Only yasminke even linked to anything. I am very disappointed.
If I can make the hiccups go away, I may just go to bed.
