I had no trouble getting home via the bus, and I had power when I got here, so all is well, for the moment at least. *knock wood*

June 2007 Frankenmix ain't it just like the rain
1. Your favorite song this month.
Sound of the City and
One Mississippi by Tom McRae
King of Cards is an excellent album.
2. Your favorite instrumental number. (Or, alternatively, your favorite soundtrack-related song.)
The Ghost In You - Counting Crows (covering the Psych Furs) from the Clueless soundtrack. (I am not really big on instrumental music. It tends to make me twitchy.)
I love this version of this song a lot.
3. A song that showcases your favorite singer.
Harbor - Vienna Teng
4. Your favorite band's best number.
Thunder Road - Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band
Duh. Greatest Song of All Time, people!
5. A song that could have been a favorite, if not for the lyrics.
Rock and Roll Ain't Noise Pollution - AC/DC
I love this song, but the lyrics are just dumb.
6. A song that could have been your favorite, if not for the tune.
Anything by Coldplay or Bright Eyes. Um, let's go with
God Put a Smile on Your Face - Coldplay, which would probably be palatable if not for what's-his-name's whining and the droning music.
And
You Will You Will by Bright Eyes, which I utterly adore when
Snow Patrol does it, so it's not so much the tune as it is Conor Oberst's voice that I loathe.
7. Your favorite song when you were fifteen.
A Question of Lust - Depeche Mode
