daddy's little girl ain't a girl no more

So last night after tv was over, I sat down and I owned that damn epilogue. I figured out why it was necessary (aside from adding more porn, because if there's one thing the story doesn't need, it's more porn, as much as I've loved writing it), and then I made it do what it needed to do. It's still a little exposition-y, but I'm hoping a couple of revisions will fix that.

So the story is done. I mean, I'm still waiting for all the beta comments and everything, so there is still editing and revising etc., but I typed the word "End" last night, and added a trio of asterisks below it to separate the story from the notes, and it is done. All 45,275 words of it.

Wait, let me repeat that.

45,275 words. Done.

I've never written that much on one story IN MY LIFE.

Apparently, I secretly yearn to be V.C. Andrews. I don't even know what to say about that.

So let's play the lyrics game instead. I swear, these are pretty much all gimmes, but I didn't skip anything to make it harder. Some of 'em are covers, though I won't make you guess which version I was listening to.

So, I list the lyrics, you guess the songs and the artists, I cross out the lyrics as people guess, and we all have something to occupy us that isn't what we're supposed to be doing. It's a win all around.
