So all of that, all those episodes of annoyance with Tritter, and it changes nothing? WTF? I mean, I didn't want the show to change. I like the show the way it is - it's more a procedural than a character drama, so... but why have a big arc that changes nothing?

In other, other news, they need to stop this "won five Golden Globe NOMINATIONS" bullshit. You haven't WON anything until you actually WIN something. WTF?
I realize everyone's all, "It's an honor to be nominated," but if being nominated and winning were the same thing, there'd be no fucking point in actually having the awards shows, and they're not stopping those, as far as I know, so stop equating nominations with wins! Arrgh!
Man, I really don't like awards for artistic endeavors.
