Jesus. I had you friended before...from...god, I don't even remember, another fandom, but you writing SPN is just amazing. I love the half dreamy feel of it, ravaged New Orleans and that lingering memory of the mundane that sort of threads its way through, love how smoothly it fits itself into canon.

You've hit everything, how Sam's unthinkingly cruel and impossibly giving in the same breath, that he's really John's son, how Dean never expected to have that forty years. I adore the little details, the lazy mellow excitement of baseball, Dean wanting to give New Orleans her last scrap of dignity. And of course, that beautiful kicker of a last line.
