Author's Note: I wrote this ages ago but never got round to posting it. Here it is finally!
Summary: A curtain. A death. A celebration.
He was dead. That was for sure. How he had died was another matter.
There was a curtain involved. That was another certainty. What said curtain had done to kill him was a mystery.
It was ironic really. He had spent his second life boasting about how he wouldn’t die because of some stupid enchanted veil and had then got himself killed by an ordinary curtain.
Rodolphus found it the most amusing. He should have done. He’d pushed the man.
Actually, there is no mystery to this tale. Sirius Black died because Lestrange had pushed him through a curtain and through an open window on the 57th floor of a muggle sky scraper. Mr Black ended up splattered on the pavement and Rod ended up very drunk through celebrations.
