There's a party going on in there. You know, that Christmas party. The one that everyone's been talking about. The one that a group of students -- the handful who weren't going home for the holidays -- decided to throw when the campus was mostly-empty.
They've both been there since it started, joined in the festivities. Bobbing for apples (Lenalee politely refused) and poker (Allen won) followed by several rounds of hard cider which left Lenalee feeling like she needed a bit of air.
You didn't mind coming out here, did you, Lavi?
And so, here they are. Standing on a snowy sidewalk, with Lenalee's head tipped back to catch a snowflake on her tongue.]
I love that song~ ♥lazysmartassOctober 4 2011, 03:12:58 UTC
[He's glad for once that he let them talk him into staying on campus this time. Though Christmas morning he'll be driving up to visit his grandfather anyway.
So he had said his good-byes to everyone, planning on staying in a hotel tonight so they can have fun into early hours and he can leave without waking anyone.
It had gotten a bit warm in there though, so he hadn't minded saying he'd stand outside with Lenalee for a short while.
He grins and tugs his scarf closer.] Merry Christmas, Lenalee. Promise you'll open my present first tomorrow?
That one and Merry Christmas, Darling are my favoriteslazysmartassOctober 4 2011, 03:27:47 UTC
[Lavi knows his limits after a few years with the other three and Christmas or not, he'll not push it. So he lets out a laugh and offers her his gloves before jamming his own hands into his pockets.]
Well, if you're going to stay out here past midnight, there's no reason you can't open mine first.
His songs are the best. ♥lazysmartassOctober 4 2011, 04:27:24 UTC
[A little flush, perhaps, but it's probably more due to the eggnog he had earlier. It always took a while (at least with that stuff) to kick into his system. Lavi grins a little.]
Though it won't hurt my feelings any if you wait either. Just text me whether you like it or not. [They're tickets to the next ballet performance, good seats for a student's budget. Two of them though Lavi doesn't expect to be her plus one, even said in the note that went with them to take whomever she wished.]

She manages to catch a snowflake, and wraps her coat tighter around herself.]
I think Brother might have a heart attack if I don't open his first...

Have a bleary sort of blink, as if it takes her a little bit to realize what he's saying.]
... I guess what he doesn't know won't hurt him, right?
