[MOD NOTE] Changes Pending
Just a notice to announce that the mods of just_muse_me/just_fck_me, musebysentence and musesandlyrics have joined forces, and therefore there will be some changes to just_muse_me and musesandlyrics to streamline the processes for ease of running the comms.
Both musesandlyrics and just_muse_me have been mostly inactive for the past couple of months as we have decided how to proceed with them in the light of changing trends in the muse prompt world (it’s activity has reduced in favour of muses being more RP oriented of late). However, there are still some writers out there who wish to focus on muse prompts and for that reason, we have decided to remain open as opposed to briefly contemplating closing down due to inactivity. It would be a shame to see the art of muse prompt writing die out! So we will continue, just with a few changes to tighten the mod process a little for us.
Please note, if you wish to join any of these comms with your muses, please read the community rules and info on the profile page and follow the join process.
Changes to just_muse_me
The only changes for this comm will be the format of prompts, including the length and frequency of prompt sets. The join process will remain as is. The new prompts sets will now follow the same fashion as that of musebysentence.
From today, on a weekly basis each Thursday/Friday, a new prompt set will be posted containing ten (10) prompts, that will be a mixture of different things from single words, quotes, lyrics, pictures etc. etc. All prompts still must be at least 100 words in length, anything over 400 must be placed under a cut. Please label all prompts with muse name, fandom, and word length.
Changes to musesandlyrics
We have decided to make this comm open membership. Any muse can join at any time without mod approval, much in the same fashion as that of, for example, justprompts and muse_write (neither of whom we are affiliated with). Prompts are still to be posted to the muse’s journal and then a link from the prompt posted to the prompt set as a comment (see prior prompt sets for example).
New prompt sets will still be posted monthly, however we will drop the number to twelve (12) prompts per month, consisting of four quotes, four TV and movie quotes, and four lyrics.
Also please note that ALL PAST PROMPTS ARE ALWAYS STILL AVAILABLE FOR USE AT ANY TIME. If you find a past prompt you like and want to use, go ahead! At this point in time, we don’t anticipate any further changes, and we hope our comms are still able to offer a range of regular prompts for those writers still wishing to utilise them.
