Verse
In this verse, other than their Innocence, Exorcists also has a form called "Guardians" that they take when they feel that their Innocence isn't enough. These Guardians are each given a different duty that was assigned to them by God. For centuries, Guardians reside within a vessel who take on different forms that correspond with what's inside their hearts. These forms that they take are made of pure Innocence that their aura resembles a lot like the Innocence Heart.
It is because of this that the Noahs has sought these Guardians out in hopes that the Guardians will lead them to the Heart. The Noahs too are able to take on another form which acts as a counterpart to the Guardians.
