This is another snippit of the story of Kaylee, aka Sesquelearus Estus’t’estus. When gelsey told me she had picked the song from Pirates as one of the list for Challenge 13 I couldn’t resist ( Read more... )

Ah, I love this one, m'dear. Especially where Gibbs is more concerned about the rail than he is her head. LOL. Nothing really else to say other than I truly enjoyed it. :D

He knows she has a nice hard head.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. I couldn't resist doing an extra.

By the way, I love that Icon. Where did you get it?

Oh, purdies. Am exploring, and I think I'm going to take a whole bunch of those dragons. I love that shot from the cover of Dragon's Dawn

I think I would have cracked by that time, too. ^.~

Query: Where did Kaylee get a watch to begin with? From one of her travels to the modern world?

And I think you should have included the scene where Jack tosses her overboard. ^.~ (Hehehe.)

She might have brought it from her own world, they are technologically and magically advanced enough. Even Harry Potter had a wrist watch.

I don't know where that reference came from. The line about the watch just appeared, and the explination followed. Perhaps I will write that scene sometime ... as soon as I figure out why he did it.

Oh, there's just not enough here! You keep teasing us with little snippets and we want more!

I love the head/rail thing, too. Sounds like something my husband would say to me... :/

Yes, well, when JKR finishs the last HP books I can decide how canonic to make her first adventure and maybe I will start writting Kaylee's tale from the beginnning. Or if I'm inspired sometime I might jump ahead and work on her adventures in the Star Wars universe. At least that one I pretty much know all of. You want to be my inspiration?

Oh, how I wish she would finish! I hate unfinished things...

If by "inspiration" you mean person who nags you ceaselessly until you finish, I can do that! ;)

It's a thought. Goodness knows I could use a kick in the ass to get working on stories. I have one chapter of a Van Helsing story, one of a Mercedes Lackey story, a few drabbles, ideas for Kaylee, a single PPC story I keep meaning to edit and follow up on, and ideas for an OFU. Knowing me, left alone, none of it will happen.

Oh, and then there are all the random ideas for original novels I came up with back in high school and college that never made it past two pages. *sigh*

Ok, enough ranting.
