The Midlands is the land of magic. Everywhere there’s magic. Magical creatures, objects, spells and even complete areas that are bound by magic. The magic is a part of the land and the people who live there. And our Seeker and The Mother Confessor have had their share of magic traveling around the land on their quest to defeat The Keeper…
There’s magic of the good,
And magic of the Bad.
There’s magic of the young,
And magic of the old.
There’s magic that aided them,
And magic that trapped them.
There’s magic that divided them,
And magic to bind.
There’s magic of illusion,
And sometimes it’s very real.
But the most powerful magic Richard and Kahlan discovered, comes from,
The magic of love.
The love that two people share and cherish. The love that kept Richard and Kahlan together and beholds them from the evil that tried to overrule the world. The love that made them do good things for the people of the Midlands and prevented the bad nightmare coming to life. The love between them is everlasting and will be with them from now on until the end of time. The love that aided them in most miraculous ways and helped them escape from traps with creativity, bravery and cunning. Their love will build bridges across the tears that divided them and make the bond between them strengthen even more. The love that made it possible for them to see through illusions and know for sure what is real and what is not. Their love is real and much more powerful then the strongest spell or potion in the Midlands.
However, their path of love has come a long way, with many obstacles that needed to be dealt with. It had all started innocently with a few simple glances, turning into sharing expressions. Then came the smiles and soft nudges. Leading to longer observations, a careful small hug, up to an embrace and even a small kiss. It was only after the first kiss, the path continued to a deeper level and the relationship grew, with more kisses and a strong magic of love. Dignity and respect were a part of the love, so even when opportunities arose, they stayed on the path of righteousness, never crossing the line and keeping their love bound strong.
No magical creature, objects or spells could break their love bound, instead it protected them from all evil that crossed their path.
