What: Sam's dreams are haunting him.
He tried to forget the agonizing nightmares that haunted his dreams more and more frequently now. No, not nightmares, visions. Premonitions of those who waited in the path of the yellow eyed demon who sought out those helpless victims and fall prey to his attacks. Amber eyes that glistened like the fire of those he burned in the darkness of Sam's gloomy head as it told him, and those like him, that he was special and would be needed for the upcoming war...
But Sam would not allow such a fate to take over his life. If it came down to it, Sam would rather be dead; and he'd make sure his brother would be the one to do him in if that time came. He fought so hard to avoid a world where he'd wind up one of the things Dean and he had hunted for most of their young lives. Becoming some ultimate supernatural being fighting against his family wasn't what he had planned to do for the majority of his life. Sam wanted to be normal; be a lawyer, marry Jessica and start a normal and happy life rid free of the past that he despised so much.
And no matter how hard he wanted to run away from everything he was, it came back to make sure that Sam Winchester was destined to either be a hunter or the hunted.
