random bits
i walked with steff and an alisa in a breast cancer walk today, and i kept getting really annoyed at the stupid little highschoolers who were shouting, "Way to go! You're almost there! You're awesome!" all the way through it. it got really hard NOT to whack them with my nalgene bottle as i walked by. it's possible that i'll get nicer over time, right? right.
did i mention that the walk was at ass o'clock this morning?
it was really great catching up with alisa, though. she's just so interesting and nice, and has this aura of calm around her.
Hot Topic has a whole section devoted to Harry Potter t-shirts. this was strangely disturbing, and I can't quite put my finger on why. seeing this made me have a strange nightmare that was a combo of work and Harry Potter stuff. oh, and a touch of Aeon Flux.
my ears hurt, and i hope that they won't get infected, or too infected. i almost turned one of my ear holes inside out last night, trying to do something stupid. this is not as painful as you'd imagine, though my fingertips hurt today from trying to shove the earring through for about an hour.
oh, so who wants to tell me what I'm dying of? a headache and sore throat that have lingered for weeks (not allergy related, as far as i can tell), extreme tiredness which becomes almost incapacitating at times, and my ears hurt (and my sore throat feels like it's connected with my ears somehow). if I sleep all day, it almost goes away, but it comes back as soon as I'm up and about doing things again.
