Your Muse: Mirage
Muse wanted: Anyone from Disney/Pixar's The Incredibles, humanized versions, of course. I know that there were a whole bunch of them running around a while ago, but I haven't seen very many since. I've already found/enabled a isdifferentokay, but I'd love to see Syndrome/Buddy [to try and play out what their relationship was like before the movie ( Read more... )

Oh man. Would you believe that I logged into this account for the first time in a month or so today, because I missed him?

I'd love to offer him up. I've been playing him post-movie (like 10 years or so later, after a "rehabilitation" program) but I wouldn't mind trying a pre-movie setting, either!

Also? My Syndrome is...not nice. I mean he can be nice, but it's typically a means to an end--only when it best suits him. But seeing as your an Incredibles fan, you probably already knew that. :)

Haha, awesome! You were the Syndrome I had seen floating around a while back with all of the other Incredibles muses, but everyone seemed to disappear. Not to me mention that I JUST watched the movie today because it was on TV and I couldn't help myself from bringing Mirage to the table :)

As I said, I'm probably going to throw her into a couple different timelines, just because I think they're both very interesting [pre-movie/post-movie]. Either way, I'd love to play sometime :D

Yeah, I'm not quite sure what happened--there was a whole gang of us (they actually enabled me to begin with), and then people just kinda...fell off. But I'm still way attached to Syn, so I've always kept him psuedo-active. JackJack-Mun may still be interested! Also WAY TO BE AWESOME AT CHANGING SCARJO'S HAIRCOLOR. My attempts at changing Jason Lee's haircolor to red vary from awesome to sloppy and horrible. Haha.

I'll all for it! :) I think Mirage and Syndrome's relationship is very interesting, especially considering how fast Mirage turns on him in the movie.

Out of curiosity--how were you planning on getting Violet involved? I'm assuming only for the post-movie verse..?

Yeah, I was sad to see them disappear, but I'm hoping that dangling a Mirage in front of them will lure them all back 8D AND THANKS. It was actually way easier than I thought it would be, since her hair's so light already, all I had to do was fiddle with the color saturation x3

And to be honest, I'm not all that sure on Vi. The mun found me over on my dear_mun post I had tossed up with her and expressed interest for a Violet. She's set post-movie, so Mirage would have to be post to interact with her, really.

I'm also, actually, really excited to work on a background for Mirage, honestly. Not a lot is known about her history, but I imagine she's got a history with espionage/assassinations. Very cool ♥

I love post-movie and pre-movie. Hooray! I'm excited. <3 Plus, I like that they'd be friendly in one verse and hate each other in the other, haha.

Were you thinking she'd be evil or...psuedo-evil-not-quite-understanding-what's-going-on? It'd be hard for her to at least not have an IDEA of what was happening, but I think that Syndrome probably manipulated her into thinking that he was trying to make the world a better place or something. Which he also thinks is true, by the way.

No kidding heh. From everything that I've read on her, she no doubt knew what he was up to during the movie/pre-movie canon and has a background of espionage/dastardly deeds. She obviously was involved with the murders of several of the Supers in order to help him develop the Omnidroid, but when it came to the innocent lives of the children, she obviously had very different morals. The Supers were okay because they had the means to defend themselves, but innocent lives? No way Jose!

So, she probably knew that he was up to no good, but didn't think that he'd go as far as killing completely innocent people. Plus, she's attracted to power, so she was probably jaded by the allure of him at the beginning.
