So, this is more of a grimdark!version. This is C&Ped from her journal:
Agnes was four when she first met Jacob. She's always had an alluring personality, and he got sucked right in. She let him into her life at the orphanage, where Miss Hattie was mistreating the girls. One day she went missing. Agnes and the girls jumped around from home to home until they were finally adopted when she was eleven. Turns out this home wasn't any better and when her adopted father winds up dead, Jacob must leave her. Margo, being of age now, takes up the responsibility of her two younger sisters. And they make the best of it. Now nineteen, Agnes is at college, having forgotten her years of make-believe and unicorns - though she can still be found humming the "Unicorn Song".
I was thinking Margo took Edith and Agnes when she was 18. They inherited some money and she opened a dance studio. The rest is really up to you.
